Shrimp with Caramelized Onion

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos or coconut aminos or tamari soy sauce
  • 1 cup onion sliced into rings
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz shrimp

Instructions

  • In a skillet, add water, lemon juice and Bragg Liquid Aminos and heat on medium.
  • Add onion, salt and pepper and cook until onions are softened, about 5-10 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and cook, deglazing the pan with additional water.

1 serving = 4 oz protein, 1/2 cup vegetable
