Hamburger Sliders

Ingredients

  • 4 oz lean ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp onion, finely minced
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely minced
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Celtic sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Mix ingredients thoroughly and form into 2 slider-sized patties.
  • Sear in a hot frying pan over high heat, 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cook to desired internal temperature. 145 degrees = medium rare; 165 degrees = well done

Notes

1 serving = 4 oz protein
Chef's Tips:
  • For spicy sliders, add 1 Tbsp diced jalapenos and 1 tsp Frank's hot sauce
  • Top with Ketchup, sauteed mushrooms, onions, pickles (no added sugar or food coloring) and/or yellow mustard
  • Try wrapped in lettuce leaves or Cloud Bread
  • Serve with a side of Cauliflower Tater Tots
