Ingredients

  • 4 oz white fish or shrimp
  • 3 Tbsp lemon or lime juice
  • 1/2 cup tomato diced
  • 1 Tbsp jalapeno chopped
  • 1 Tbsp onion chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • fresh cilantro chopped
  • dash hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Steam the fish or shrimp.
  • In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients.
  • Add fish or shrimp and refrigerate overnight.

Notes

1 serving = 4 oz protein, 1/2 cup vegetable
Phase II Variation: Serve over cream cheese for a vegetable dip.
